Learning has never been so easy!
When Avast shows you this, it means your router is already infected. Your DNS settings have been changed so as to provide important data and unrestrained access to your device. Usually, when cyber-thieves manage to override your internet security protocols and exploit your router vulnerabilities, they will modify the DNS settings and reroute.

Avast Passwords in Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus, which provides a master password to streamline user accounts, is being discontinued.
It will be replaced by Password Protection, a new feature that automatically secures passwords saved in your customers’ browsers for extra protection and peace of mind. Supported browsers include Chrome and Firefox.
For more important information regarding this change, including how to export data from Avast Passwords or migrate data to Firefox or Chrome, see here:

Avast Passwords identity protection is integrated into Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus, our premier option for SMBs!
Enabling Avast Passwords for those machines with Pro Plus licenses provides an integrated experience with Avast Business, making it easy and secure for your employees to store, protect, and synchronize their passwords. No more sticky notes!
Note -- Avast Passwords integration with Antivirus Pro Plus applies to Windows machines only; however, standalone clients are available for Macs as well as Android and iOS.
11 Steps total
Step 1: Make Sure Avast Passwords is Enabled in Settings Template
Once you have the settings template created for your devices, ensure that Passwords will be installed, which it is by default on Pro Plus licenses.
(Note that you can uninstall the component so it is not active on devices with that license assigned to that template, if you wish.)
Step 2: Click on Avast Passwords in the Avast Business GUI
Have the users who you wish to use Avast Passwords click on the icon in the GUI.
Step 3: Create a Master Password for Avast Passwords
Have your user create a unique, secure master password, with a mix of special characters, numbers, lowercase and capital letters (guidelines are shown in the GUI)
This master password is unique to this device. Users can set individual passwords for each device they are using with Avast Passwords, or use the same one across devices if they wish. More details on that later.
Step 4: Activate Browser Components for Avast Passwords
The user will then be prompted to activate Avast Passwords in the browser, if your company allows this. Chrome and Firefox are supported, and the GUI will guide through the setup for users.
Step 5: Begin Adding Passwords - GUI
After these steps are complete, the basic setup of Avast Passwords is done! Currently, the passwords are not syncing to other devices. Users can manually add passwords from this screen.
Step 6: Begin Adding Passwords - Browsers
Users can also add passwords through their browser of choice. Avast Passwords can ask to save passwords as users log into websites (or this can be disabled if desired.) Avast Passwords is also able to auto-generate a random, secure password for use which can then be saved in the vault after entry.
Step 7: Turning on Passwords Synchronization
Avast Passwords also gives users the option to sync their passwords with a secure Avast Account. This enables users to access their passwords on other devices, such as a Mac, iPhone, or Android device (as well as other Windows devices) utilizing their Avast Account and master password for that device. The first step is to turn on synchronization.
*Note - the security and encryption of Avast Passwords is crucial to us, and you can find details about how this works in the whitepaper here: https://www.avast.com/en-us/passwords#pc
Step 8: Syncing with Avast Account
After creating, or logging into, the user's Avast Account, their passwords will begin syncing.
Step 9: Activate Avast Passwords on Another Device
Avast Settings Password Windows 10
Now, the user can download Avast Passwords, for example, for their Android device (it's a free download.) They will also create a master password for that device, that again can be unique to that device only if they wish. Then, they will log in to their Avast Account to begin the synchronization process.
We can't post screenshots here because the app's security settings prevent taking screenshots of the login/account creation process ;)
Step 10: Confirm Avast Passwords on an Already-Connected Device
As an additional step, users are required to confirm additional devices for passwords syncing on a device that is already activated. In this case, we are activating our Android phone on a PC with Antivirus Pro Plus.
Avast Passwords WILL NOT sync on the secondary or additional devices until they are securely activated by the user.
Step 11: Enjoy a More Secure Password Solution
Your user is all set to enjoy safer, more convenient password storage and access. Avast Passwords is compatible across many devices (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, as well as Chrome and Firefox!)
Please let our team know if you have any questions about Avast Passwords or any of the Avast Business products, we're very happy to help!
